SEND TEACHING ASSISTANTS REQUIRED
SEPTEMBER 2019

TA Grade 3 point 5-6 pro rata (Full time equivalent £18,795 – £19,171)

Multiple posts:
32.5 HOURS PER WEEK – 1 year fixed term in the first instance – term time only.
17.5 HOURS PER WEEK – 1 year fixed term in the first instance – term time only (0.5 mornings only post)

Goldthorpe Primary School are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, caring and flexible individuals to support and motivate our wonderful children. The role will be to support teaching and learning throughout school in line with our bespoke curriculum, depending on the needs of the children with learning support assistants needed to work 1:1 with children with various SEND requirements.

Ideally applicants will:
• demonstrate our school values at all times
• have recent experience of working with children
• demonstrate a friendly approachable manner
• have the ability to work as part of a dedicated team
• have the ability to work on own initiative and to carry out directed tasks
• have the ability to assist with planning, teaching and assessment of pupils’ achievements as directed
• be flexible and willing to undertake support for learning throughout school and in 1:1, group or class situations
• be responsive to constructive feedback
• be fully supportive of the school’s drive to become an outstanding learning environment
• have relevant qualifications for the post
· have experience of working with children with SEND and/or working 1:1
• have the ability and confidence to work with a range of children and confidently manage behaviour

Although desirable, experience is not essential for the TA role if you are passionate, dynamic and enthusiastic about working with children and willing to learn and to be trained further in this role. The successful candidate will uphold the ethos and vision of the school in order to support the school to impact positively on the children within our care. Previous applicants need not apply.

FULL TIME EYFS TEACHER REQUIRED FROM SEPTEMBER 2019

Fixed term temporary post for 1 year in the first instance.

Are you passionate about the Early Years? Goldthorpe Primary School is seeking to appoint an outstanding EYFS Teacher to join our friendly, energetic and committed learning community.

We are a relatively new school build with excellent facilities and resources. Our intake is currently the sixth most deprived in the UK, and although you do not have to have experience of this context, you do have to want to work hard to make a difference and be proud of the difference we make.
